Modjeska Playhouse

The Modjeska Playhouse, in conjunction with the Belltower Foundation of Rancho Santa Margarita, will be offering Fall and Winter classes on Acting for Kids and Screenwriting for Adults as part of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita’s Youth and Adult Programs.

The three classes being offered are:

1.) YOUTH PROGRAM Acting for Kids: 8-10 yrs. – Explore the world of storytelling, listening and vocal and physical expression while increasing self-esteem, and creating ensemble.

2.) YOUTH PROGRAM Acting for Kids: 11-13 yrs. - Explore the world of storytelling, listening and vocal and physical expression while increasing self-esteem, and creating ensemble.

3.) ADULT PROGRAM Writing for Stage and Screen – A beginner’s course for adults interested in constructing plays for the stage and screen with a focus on scene construction, characterization, dialog, plot and basic formatting.

Civic Plaza

This outdoor food festival showcases the variety of cuisines Rancho Santa Margarita has to offer and allows local vendors to market their products to residents and nearby neighbors. By creating a place to gather, a sense of community is garnered to promote life balance to residents and provides an opportunity to encourage economic development by involving local restaurants and food vendors to participate. The Taste of Rancho was added as the City’s fourth event produced annually to truly showcase the lifestyle that is Rancho Santa Margarita.
