Modjeska Playhouse

Modjeska Playhouse is a nonprofit theatre company organized to utilize the collaborative efforts of performing artists to educate, inform and entertain the public, thereby helping to sustain the artistic growth and social awareness of the community.

Modjeska Playhouse’s primary objectives and purposes are:

• To provide training in specific theatre art forms including: acting, improvisation, voice, movement, technical theatre, and playwriting.
• To provide community educational outreach in forms of touring productions and theatre for young artists.
• To give public performances in various performance art forms.
• To raise awareness and/or funds for various community organizations through special events and performances.
• To directly engage in and provide facilities for others to engage in the promotion of the arts.
